More Uluru

Sounds of Silence Dinner
Out in the middle of the desert.
This is the buffet, the food was really really good.
I have eaten Emu, Crocodile, Kangaroo,
Barramundi
We watched the sun go down over the desert,
Sat in silence to listen to the sounds of the desert.
Had a star travel lecture through the night sky, saw Saturn and her ring,
the Southern Cross,
and many more wonderful sky things.

Me riding a Camel, a one hump kind.
There are more then a million camels loose out in the Outback,
the people want to get rid of a lot of them as they
eat all the vegetation and there is not that much out there.
Some of the weather markings on the side of Uluru

Elder Doney holding up his pants while we were walking around,
so they didn't fall down around his ankles.

Aboriginal painting

One of the walls above a Spring
There are places we are asked not to photograph,
because they are sacred for the Aboriginals.
We are asked to respect their wished.
It was very easy for us to do it.

Can you tell I am happy to see it at last!
I jumped for joy when I first saw Uluru from the airplane,
everything I thought it would be.Us and Uluru at sun rise.
Very cold out!
