Tuesday morning we packed up and left for our adventure up north. We are on a trip to find members, doing this for the Branch President of Armidale.
We stopped in Armidale and took the Sisters out to lunch. They were so happy to see us.
We were happy to visit with them and they loved us buying the lunch.
Hungry Jack has good food for fast food or as is said here Take Out.
Dee had looked up the name Doney in the phone book and found some in Glen Innes.
So we went and visited them.
They were so happy to see us and invited us back anytime we were up there.
They have 3 young children.
They had just spent 4 days at an Easter Fest. They were infused with the Love of Christ.
Amber has been attending another church from her own faith because she wants to talk Religion after church not cattle and such stuff.
We gave them The Lamb of God and Families Can Be Together Forever DVD's.
We are planning on going back and sharing the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
That was such a fun experience.
I have to tell you about my experience going out to the car to get the DVD's.
It was pouring rain. I opened the boot of the car grabbed the umbrella opened it and walla
it turned inside out in the wind. This was a big umbrella. There I stand in the rain and wind getting soaked trying to get the darn thing back right. I finally did, grabbed the DVD's and ran soaked back to the house. I kept thinking while I was out there that the neighbors must have had a great laugh watching me with that umbrella.
We then drove on to Inverell in the rain. We seem to make trips in the rain a lot.
The clouds are unbelievability BEAUTIFUL out here. Piled high, whipped, stacked, puffed up, as you look forever. This is not called the Big Sky Country for nothing.
We had dinner at the East Inverell Bowling Club.
There was not much else to choose from.
Just Take out.
It is very interesting to eat at the Bowling Clubs. Every town has them.
It is a social club for the towns people.
A bar, Keno, games, dinning room, etc.
You go up to the counter order your food and if it is already prepared they serve it up right there which is a lot of battered fried things. They also fry stakes, sausages and lamb.
You get veggies with it. All for $13.00 each. Dessert is extra $4.00 each.
None of which is all that good. I prefer Take Out.
I went to Curves this morning and now will take a bath in a HALF spa bath tub.
This will be an experience, I'll let you know how it goes. It should be better then no bath!
