Two Baptisms

It was a lovely Saturday!
John Wo (on the right) was Baptized at the Ryde Ward
Sisters Cai and Maddux met him near the UNI.
They taught him the lessons and we got to be part of the exciting process.
John asks good questions and learns very fast.
He spent 15 min. sharing his testimony in Chinese (he speaks English) after his baptism.
We English speaking only people only understood a few words like,
Apple, Chee Chee, Maddux, Amen
The Chinese enjoyed it though .
John C has been coming to Church for two years.
A young lady whom he worked with shared the gospel with him.
He did not want to join the Church for her so he started coming to the Hornsby Ward
where he lives a year ago, instead of her ward.
John felt it was true but did not act on his feelings.
We met with him and the Sisters one evening.
He was going back and forth about being Baptized,
Elder Doney asked him if he knew it was right why was he waiting to do the right thing.
That was the kick start to his deciding to get Baptized.
(John told Elder Doney that after he was Baptized)
John is well educated, employed and will be a strength where ever he lives.
These are the blessings of Missionary Service.
Some to the Missionaries who have worked with John C.

Sisters Hepworth and Walsh, John C. and Brother Boyle.
A great end to a very hard working Missionary service.
It was so nice as Sister Hepworth has finished her Mission
and will be flying home tomorrow.
It was a lovely day!

A baptism is a great thing. A double makes it extra special.
Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I am happy for John. How nice that Dee was inspired to say the right things to help John decide to get baptised. How wonderful missionary work it.
Have you heard about the Edling baby. Please visit my blog to learn more. They really need your prayers and support.

You are in our prayers. Have a great week. Hugs, Lura
