We have been here about 6
Sundays and have talked on 3
of them.
Way to often for me!
Yesterday we spoke on Missionary work,
how we each are missionaries in
everything we do and say. Most
of all
we need to be willing to open our mouth and share with all
we come in
contact with.
Share what bring
us such joy and peace even in
times of turmoil. Would you be offended if a friend wanted to share with you what beings them happiness? No! You would listen and be thankful they were willing to share what made them happy? Yes! It does not mean we have to agree or accept what they tell us but we would be greatful they cared enough to share with us. Be brave and share. Your friends will still like you and maybe even be very thankful you shared with them. If you bring but one soul unto me how great shall be your joy . D&C 18:15. (I have to sound like a missionary sometimes)

What a good missionary you are. I will try to follow your advice.
Thanks for leaving me a comment on my blog. As you can see I am trying to spread a little info about the church on my blog. I hope that it does some good.
Is there somebody there that could help you post pictures on your blog? I would just love to see pictures of things you are experiencing and your new little Ember.
Have a great week. Love, Lura
Thanks mom. I was just thinking about this after re-reading president Bednar's conference talk last April on Asking in Faith. He reminded me that it is not up to me to pray for our full-time missionaries to do my work.
You hit the nail on the head, Sis. I think we all know that there is no greater joy than sharing the gospel. Some joys just as great, yes, but none greater. And the people we bring into the church keep sending us dividends (spiritual, of course) that are not unlike the ones we get from grandkids as they grow up. So glad you guys are out there serving.
So glad you got pictures up. Riley announced you had pictures and was excited to see them. I guess it brings back fond memories for him.
I pray every morning before work to take the spirit of the gospel with me so the kids I work with can feel it and at times I know it has. The gospel brings such wonderful light to lost souls.
