Bloging Drives Me CRAZY!

I just wrote a little blog about the little ladies and gentlemen, how they dress and how others dress and posted it, it was there I checked. It was on the blog. Then I did the one about Andre Rieu' posted it and now the post about how people dress is gone.

In fact computers drive ME CRAZY. So that is why I don't do much with the computer any more.

Weather

The weather here has been CRAZY!
Yesterday it was hot and muggy then by 5.00 PM we had rain,
with the sun out full force.
By 8.00PM all the fans and windows were open, we were dieing of sweat and heat.
About 9.30 PM all heck and high water broke loose.
The rain started coming down in buckets and more buckets.
It sounded so good and started cooling things off, then it really hit.
LIGHTENING, THUNDER
like I've only experienced once before.
Grandma Terrill, Amy, Karen, Heather and I
were camping in the Utah mountains. It was so loud and so on top of us
it was a storm to scare a person to death.
Never before or since, until last night have I been in a storm like that.
I would see the lightening and then the thunder right after.
The storm was all on top of us, some times it would shake the flat.
It went on for over an hour.
It was wonderful sleeping last night, cool.
Today cool, cloudy.
Sunday it was very HOT almost 100 degrees, (here 38 c) also Monday.
It is supposed to be cool for a few more days and then who knows what?
I keep putting my winter clothes away and then I have to get them out again.
I finally took the flannel sheet off the bed and now it is cool.
I broke out my summer clothes and wear them it seems, every other day.
We love the cool not cold, warm not hot. How picky are we anyway.

Night Out with Andre Rieu'

This is the Peppers family from Tamworth
(I am in there also)
Marea Pepper second from the right treated me to a
Andre Rieu' Concert in Newcastle
We had a lovely time and fun was had by all.
We all went out to eat at a RSL Club,
Elder Doney went out to eat with us also,
don't think he would miss out on eating out do you?
He then went to the Peppers Motel
while we went to the Concert.
Thanks Marea for the gift and lots of fun.

Grandma Jensen

October 13, 2009

We have just lost a Great Lady!

Grandma Jensen at 91 went back to live with Heavenly Father.

I remember the first time I met her, she looked like a model, tall, elegant, gracious.
I was so impressed with her beautiful smile and kind words,
you could not help falling in love with her.
Through the years she was always the same no matter what her health was.

Grandma loved the Children, Grandchildren and Great Grand Children
and they loved her back.
Grandma always had time to play games and teach each one as they came along.

The Doney Children will really miss her as she was like a Mother to them.

All her family will miss her greatly.

Grandma Jensen was a member of the Young Women's General Board,
traveled extensively to Stake Conferences and spoke where ever she went.
She also gave service in the Salt Lake Temple kitchen for many years.

The Jensen's have 4 daughters, 12 Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren,

and 1 Great Great Grandson

Grandma is now again with her husband of many years, and is no longer hampered
by a physical body that does not want to work.

Grandma dance, walk and enjoy the freedom of the here after.

We Love You

New Temples

Yea!
A Temple in Brigham City!
20 minutes away!
Hope we can serve there when we get home
and it's built.
I wonder if they will convert the Old Tabernacle
into the Temple? Like in Vernal.
G'onya Bear River Valley
You have done lots of service at the Temples to get this Blessing.

SAMOA

Our Ward has been touched by the tragedy in Samoa. Several of our families are from Samoa and lost family members there. Bro. Utai just got back from there two days before the destruction. Whole villages were wiped out. There were 81,860 members in Samoa. Many of the villages were all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In many of the villages there were whole generations of families living there. There is great sadness in the lives lost and destruction left there. The members shared in Testimony meeting this morning the faith that is there and how prayers have been answered in finding bodies and the living. The Church members knowledge of families being sealed together forever has helped greatly in this time of sorrow.

The members told how the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was the first one in with help. Australia, New Zealand and America are there now also.

Our hearts and prayers go out to those who are suffering through all the disasters around the world.
